Middelplaas Paarl Guesthouse is situated on a prime location near Paarl’s famous schools, venues and conference centers. Located in the heart of the Western Cape Wine Route, comfortable accommodation is provided 3 km outside Paarl.

Enjoy a peaceful getaway while being idyllically centered around a farm dam. Wake up to chattering birds and listen to the sounds of farm animals. A getaway from the hustle and bustle of big city life.

With 24 rooms we are ideal for wedding guests to stay in one place, school reunion-groups, conference groups, tour groups or retired friends wanting to explore the wine lands. Our latest reunion was the 60th-Girls High- reunion and they had a marvelous time. We have a free shuttle service through the night for our guests attending nearby venues. Booking essential. The comfortable rooms are easily accessible for people with difficulty walking.

Each room has its own outside access and fully equipped kitchenette with induction stove, microwave and fridge, which are ideal for long term stays.

Middelplaas Paarl Guesthouse opened its doors middle October 2018. Another 9 rooms are under construction which will be finished by the end of December 2019.

An island for wild birds has been created in the dam. Its amazing to listen to the bird sounds at night.

“In November 2018 my mother unexpectantly passed away. Me and my sister had to travel from England and my dad and other 2 sisters from Gauteng as we decided to have her funeral in Wellington. Anne Marie was simply amazing, as she helped my sisters and Dad during a very difficult time in giving all of us accommodation on very short notice when another guesthouse was extremely rude. Alhtough one part of Middelplaas was not yet finished, she went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible. She went through all the ups and downs with us without even knowing most of us during this very difficult time and the most special thing ever was when her Malawi staff comforted us with their wonderful songs and prayers. We will always nurture the time we spent on the "stoep" of Middelplaas who became the central point of all families and friends who came to comfort us and supprt us. The morning after the funeral Anne Marie had the most beautiful tea table decorated for us. We will always keep Middelplaas close to our hearts as this is the place where friends and family came together and fantastic memories were shared which made everything more bearable. Thank you so much Anne Marie. I highly recommend Middelplaas and thank you for naming one of your rooms in memory of my mother's "Ouma se kombuis". - Yolande Fourie
